Bill Wiggin MP for North Herefordshire visited The Spring Greens Fair near Pembridge over the Bank holiday weekend to examine first hand different environmental projects going on in the county.
Bill Wiggin MP said: “There was a fantastic collection of environmental projects and enjoyable activities for both children and adults to take part in with a large number of very skilled craftsmen on hand.”
For the second year running The Spring Greens Fair, on Saturday and Sunday, 4 and 5 of May, was hosted by Edward Bulmer at Court of Noke, Staunton-on-Arrow.
The family friendly event aims to allow interested parties to share what they are doing and discuss what could be happening to further the green agenda.
Organisers said: “Spring Greens Fair exists to showcase inspiring, enjoyable and healthy solutions to the difficult social, economic and environmental issues which confront us all.
“We aim to create a family friendly event for mutual education and the demonstration of innovative ideas.
“The Fair supports opportunities for practical engagement and enables experimentation in sustainable lifestyles and livelihoods.”
