Bill has welcomed new statistics showing that the number of people in work in the West Midlands has increased by 37,000 since the last election.
Commenting on the latest ONS publication, Bill said:
“These positive figures are another sign that Britain’s economy is turning the corner. There are now more people in work than ever before, including a record number of women, and further vacancies are still out there waiting to be filled.
Overall it’s great news for Herefordshire and great news for the wider region. Local businesses are really rising to the challenge.”
