Bill Wiggin MP is shocked at the decision to withdraw the proposed mast in Fownhope.

Bill Wiggin MP said: “I am appalled by the news that the proposed mobile telephone mast at Fownhope is to be withdrawn from the Mobile Infrastructure Project, on the basis that reception is good enough, it simply is not!

I have written to the Minister, Ed Vaizey, raising my objections to this plan, as well as seeking a meeting with the Secretary of State for Culture, Media & Sport and tabling Written Parliamentary questions on the proposed mast and overall reception issues in Fownhope.

It is vital that reception in Fownhope be improved and I will continue to press the Government to reverse the decision to withdraw the mast.”
