Bill Wiggin MP will hold a Debate in the Chamber of the House of Commons tomorrow on mobile signal in Fownhope and North Herefordshire.

Following a number of Written Questions, the presentation of a 300 signature petition and several meetings with the Secretary of State, Bill Wiggin MP is holding an Adjournment Debate on Tuesday 6 January on mobile signal in Fownhope and North Herefordshire.

Bill Wiggin MP said: “After petitioning for the opportunity to hold a debate on the problems in Fownhope for many months I am delighted I will have the opportunity to raise this matter on the floor of the House tomorrow.

It is telling how poor the mobile signal and internet connection is in Herefordshire that my colleague Jesse Norman MP, Member for Hereford and South Herefordshire, is holding a similar debate on the same day in Westminster Hall.

Tomorrow I will explain to the Minister the problems we all have in Herefordshire with poor mobile reception.

For too long we have not had the mobile phone provider’s investment we needed in our mobile phone infrastructure in North Herefordshire and tomorrow I hope this will start to change.”
