Bill Wiggin MP visited the annual Kington Show in his North Herefordshire constituency last weekend.

Bill Wiggin MP said: “It is always a pleasure to attend this excellent show and to witness such a variety of stalls, superb livestock and so many local producers. A huge amount of work goes into organising this show.

Despite the rain, there was a great attendance which emphasises how important these shows are to Herefordshire people.

I continue to support fundraising efforts to ensure that these events continue to thrive, allowing us to further showcase our fantastic Agricultural community.”

Commenting on his visit to the Wye Valley Bee Keepers Association stand, Bill Wiggin MP said:

“It was a pleasure to meet with members of the Wye Valley Bee Keepers Association, and to see all the excellent work they are doing to protect our local bee’s, which are so precious to us all.”

Mr Wiggin, who is a Patron of the Herefordshire Bee Keepers Association, also commented:

“I am lucky enough to have three hives in my garden, and I know how vital it is to protect them.”
