In early 2014, Bill welcomed the news faster broadband will soon be rolled out to Much Marcle and How Caple.

Fastershire reported this week they expect How Caple, Much Marcle and three other areas to receive faster broadband in Spring 2014.

Bill said: “Faster and more secure broadband connections are desperately needed in North Herefordshire to enable our businesses to compete on an even playing field with the rest of the country.

“I am glad to hear that two more areas of my constituency will soon see an increase in their broadband speeds, I know this news will be warmly welcomed in both Much Marcle and How Caple.

“Yet while this is good news for Much Marcle and How Caple many of my constituents are growing frustrated at the length of time it is taking for faster broadband to benefit them.”

Gorsley, How Caple, Llangarron, Much Marcle and Symonds Yat will be the next communities to become a part of Fastershire, which aims to take faster broadband to areas of Herefordshire and Gloucestershire not covered by any commercial rollout plans.
